“We are thrilled to bring the ISSCR Annual Meeting back to Europe,” Amander Clark, PhD, ISSCR President said. “The 2024 meeting will weave together a broad spectrum of topics in stem cell biology, new technologies, and clinical applications to showcase the most compelling stem cell science of the year. The meeting is a time to present cutting edge research findings and uncover new insights and approaches that accelerate progress in our field. I look forward to welcoming you to Hamburg next year.”
ISSCR 2024 is the most clinically focused annual meeting in the society’s 20+ years. Fueled by basic research and unparalleled development of new technologies, the field is seeing more stem cell-based clinical trials than at any time in history. The meeting serves as an incubator, a catalyst for new advances at each point in the research continuum.
Scientists are invited to submit an abstract by 14 February 2024 for the opportunity to be selected for an oral presentation and to quality for Travel and Merit Awards. Late-breaking abstracts will be open from 28 February 2024 through 3 April 2024 and will only be considered for poster presentations. The ISSCR thanks the City of Hamburg and Life Science Nord for their support of the meeting.
Special registration pricing is set aside for ISSCR members who live in a country considered by the World Bank to be low or low-mid income — up to 58% lower than published rates for in-person registration. Virtual registration is available to low and low-mid income ISSCR members for no cost.
Journalists are encouraged to apply for media credentials in order to receive complementary access to the meeting.
